Update (2/13)
Friday, February 13, 2009 at 9:48PM New windows clients posted, updated interface. Now allows you to store & organize your digital comics library like you already can in the Mac app.
I've been testing the 32-bit version of this, but don't have a 64-bit machine to test the x64 version with... so I need your feedback on bugs and issues.
There currently are some small bugs in the client which I am working on, but I wanted to get these versions out there. Let me know what you think and check back for updates!
** Edit i need to find or build a 64-bit version of the zeroconfigservices.dll ... it appears this is causing crashes for 64bit windows...

Application stops working error when exporting in x64...:(
that's not surprising i guess... tho unfortunate. You have made sure that you have Bonjour for windows installed?
if not you can find it here
you might also get a windows dialog asking to block/unblock(confirm/deny) the network communication.
Hi, its crashing on windows 7,but its just beta so its not your problem :). has problems only with larger files as i have noticed. dont have the error msg right now - something about not responding, but i can post it for u later if u are interested. dont know if its normal but the memory usage goes up to around 1 mb and the resets down and goes up.
i could see the larger files causing an issue. I need to move the import process to a background thread, it currently "locks up" the interface while the import is processing.
yeah any detail you have on errors will be helpful, post it if you can. Thanks!
So, the error msg is ...
Export Error (sending file): A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.
i want to try to test it on vista 32bit and xp in the same network to see if its network related or really an windows 7 problem.
I just bought Pull Lists from the Apple store, however the client application does not work on my PC.
In Vista, i try to drag and drop to Pull Lists Library and nothing happens, it simply does not register. I have installed Bonjour as per the instructions to no avail.
Is there a manual way to copy the files across ? i would really like to get this going :)
app crashes in vista x86 nonstop when I try to export weather its 1 file or multiple, I was wondering if it was possible to transfer the files via SSH and if so where would the files go. I have tried putting them in the
/private/var/mobile/Applications/2F39F2C1-0A0F-42CD-9016-74F2E38649DA/Library...Documents....Preferences...tmp??? Is there another location where the files are put???
Thanks
here is the error report

just tried it on a notebook with windows 7 + installed .net framework 3.5 sp1 beta for windows 7 and bonjour. Ad-hoc connection. and its working even with larger files without an error.
I just purchased pull lists from app store. Installed windows x86 version on XP laptop. App runs but dropping a .cbr file to pull lists library does nothing. Nothing is imported. Does pull list library tries to register for the extensions? I have ComicRack running which register as default handler for all .cbr and .cbz extensions. Does pull lists lib have a problem with that?
Hi, I am experiencing difficulty with the client.
Windows XP
x86 version of the client
When I drag .cbr or .cbz files into the Pull Lists Library program nothing happens. I have tried dragging to every part of the program window with no success.
Please help me.
to deckster - try installing bonjour service, helped me on vista, have not tried on xp yet.
So yeah, those of you working on Vista 64, the reason why you can't send any files to your phone is due to a problem with the ZeroConfigNetServices dll that i'm using for network discovery. Since the iPhone app was built with the Mac in mind, networking was built around Bonjour services. As soon as I can find a solution that will allow this to work, I'll have it available to you.
If any of you are developers and want to look into this issue yourselves, the bonjour for windows project that i'm working with can be found here
I'd expect an update to the 32-bit windows client this weekend or before.
again, thank you for your feedback and your continued patience.
I have the same problem on XP. Installing Bonjour does not help. Nothing will import into the tool. Bonjour only help you in the export to the iPhone. This is import. Dropping files into the app does nothing. No files are imported.
I also have a vista 64 bit system and I was able to import but its very weird. If I drop 10 files on, maybe 2 or 3 would be imported and the rest are MIA. It seems I have to drop 1 or 2 at a time and even then it's inconsistent. Also export does not work at all. The app just crash but it seems that "ej" already know the problem.
I downloaded the app today along with the library and bonjour and it works fine. I'm wondering how do you remove a comic you've read from the ipod and/or library.
there's a swipe to delete feature in the phone app, the same way you would delete in the mail app and the delete key in both the mac and windows application should delete the selected record.
Hi. I just bought the app and found the same problem with the others. I installed 32-bit client application and Bonjour in Vista. When I tried to drag-and-drop the .cbr files to the library, it also did not register.
Please help. Thanks.
Same issue as mAAddog. Running vista x86 app. No file will import over =-(
Ok, update. the sample covers file worked. I didnt realize you had to choose a publisher then title. That made the files pop up and they imported nicely to the iPhone. No issues with the iPhone end of the app, but I'd still like to get .zips to work (only type ive tried so far)
Still will not work on x86 (XP) - I've tried many things. Since there is no such thing as a refund for iPhone apps, I will have to wait for a fix but right now this app is useless on the iPhone without being able to upload files. I will write a review on appstore to warn windows users of the issues but I will revise the review if/when there is an update.
There is an update coming to the x86 windows client, I only want to make sure its not full of bugs before I release it for use... the only reason I made the current one available so soon is to allow you the users to get a feel for what is coming.
I ask for your continued patience, I would love to have all of this to you as soon as I can... but there really are only so many hours in the day and just myself to work on this project.
thanks,
EJ
Here's my problem; I'm able to start an import but midway though it, around page 30 or so, it just stops. It's not frozen...it just stops.
I just bought your app for the iphone but the Pulllists library does not open on my mac g5 running os 10.4.11 can you help me?
Just bought Pull Lists app, on the x86 client, can import files into tool, can't export files.
Considering we've paid for the app, the ability to use it would be nice.
