Update 2/06

I've been made aware that the tiger builds for Pull Lists Library that I have posted don't work... Unfortunately since I work on a Leopard mac and have been developing this software for Leopard I've not actually had a Tiger install to test these on.  So what I had assumed would run in tiger... hasn't.  Sorry.

BUT! right now I am setting up a tiger install and will get to the bottom of this issue this weekend.  With any luck you Tiger folks will have a working build before the weekend is out!  Sorry for the delay in this and thank you for your patience.

Heya, great looking apps! Any plans for CoverFlow in the desktop app, and file size optimization for the iPhone/iPod touch one?

Coverflow currently isn't officially supported in the Mac SDK's, but eventually i'll be looking into creating my own version of coverflow for this app. It would definitely be a great way to browse thru your comics.

Size optimization is already happening to some extent, but eventually i'll be allowing the user to choose how much they want to compress their files. Currently I'm resizing and slightly compressing each page as it heads out of the client app to the phone. The phone can only handle images up to a certain resolution before it becomes unstable, so that is the standard page size.

Thanks for the comment, any ideas for features/improvements are always welcome!

The pc library app doesn't work on 64 bit vista. The problem is the ChilkatDotNet2.dll. Can you build the app using x64 version of that dll?

I can't change the dll myself because it is tied to the assembly.

Is there a ETA for the mac osx tiger library

February 12, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterPierre

the x64 version of the windows client: I'll get that built tonight, but the problem is that I don't have an x64 machine to test this on... if you'd like to be a guinea pig for this build please send me an email at: actionsreaction@gmail.com

the tiger client: The tiger client right now launches, all of the leopard-only dependencies have been removed... but there's a hard crash happening during the export process. I'm hoping to get to the bottom of this very soon... as soon as this is fixed and the client can successfully get your comics to your iPhone/iPod, I will let you all know. As far as ETA, it's hard to say unfortunately but I would say soon.

thanks for your continued patience.
